M.I.A. Me..

Apologies to everyone – I’ve been MIA lately and I’m very aware of that. I seem to have a lot going on at the moment and it’s made me lose my blogging mojo. Hopefully I’ll be back again soon but in the meantime you’ll have to be patient :)

NOTD with Ciate and Nails Inc

I did a super quick NOTD using Ciate Bon Bon and Nails Inc Bruton Street (pinky)… mainly because I wanted to try Bruton road out but had already done my other 4 nails with Bon Bon. Have you tried either? What do you think? I love this particular Ciate shade because its lovely and subtle after my crazy bright nails at the weekend!

I find Ciate great in general though,  lovely finish, great colours and lasts ages without chipping.

I love Nails Inc too, but I do find that they don’t last as long as some less expensive polishes though :-(

What do you think? Isnt Bruton Street on my pinky a very lovely shade! Together they make me think of tea parties and elegant 1960s housewives :-)

MUA Poptastic Palette – Swatches & Review

So I was looking for some inspiration for a St. Patricks day eye online and realised that I’d need something to recreate the look with. I popped into superdrug and picked up this Poptastic palette from MUA (£4).

I had great fun playing with this last night. I mainly used the green on the bottom left and the gold (2nd from the right on top) to create an Irishy type eye for Sunday. It’s not very good but I’ll show you that too..

Left Eye

Urgh – excuse my skin – it’s awful lately! :( I’ll need a bit more practice before the weekend I think!! By the way, I’m not very good at this sorta stuff so I’m more than happy for you to tell me what I can do better :)

Sooo as you can see the green & gold are pretty nice but I’m sure you’d like to see some swatches?? :)

Sooo what do you think? Will you be checking it out? I can’t wait to play around with the other colours and create some additional looks. The swatches lasted for ages on my arms even thought I was trying to wall paper at the same time. I found that they had a lovely texture and the colours themselves were lovely on the skin. Apologies yet again for the pictures, my flash is very harsh and the lighting in my house is not great so hopefully they’re not too bad!

Let me know what you think of my very bad look for the weekend and what you think of Poptastic
